  Customer Rights


PURPOSE
ARTICLE 1; The aim of the Consumer Protection Law in Turkey that is valued in a vast spectrum; is to protect the economical rights, health and security, recover the losses, enlighten and train, organise activities to avoid environmental threats for the consumer and make way for the voluntary organisation in this aspect.

SCOPE
Article 2; This law embraces every legal affair that consumer is a party related to the scope mentioned above.

Service; A physical or mental work done for money or benefit

Manufacturer; Manufacturers of the items or the raw materials of the items presented to the consumers including the governmental institutions…
Seller; Natural persons or corporate bodies that sell service or item to the consumers including governmental institutions...
Consumer; Natural persons or corporate bodies that buy service or item for special purposes and use or consume as an end user...
Consumer Organisations; Charities and organisation founded for protection of consumer laws.
