Capitol was awarded in 2007 by the International Council of Shopping Centers that is accepted as an authority in shopping centers with the help of its changing and innovative concept. Being awarded “The Best Project in Europe” under the refurbishments category the center was also awarded “Award of Merit” under design and development category.
Capitol was also took the first in shopping centers and shops Christmas design contest help by United Brands Charity with “Wish Trees and Snowballs” project.
It took the same prize in 2006 with "Snow Fall" project. Capitol also took the “Award of Merit” under “Marketing” category in the first “Shopping Centers Contest” held by the “Shopping Centers and Retailers Charity” in 1999 with the “Quit Smoking in Capitol” project.
